National WREATHS across AMERICA Day
December 14, 2019

Each December on National Wreaths Across America Day, our mission to Remember, Honor and Teach is carried out by coordinating wreath-laying ceremonies at Arlington National Cemetery, as well as at more than 1,600 additional locations in all 50 U.S. states, at sea and abroad.

Join us by sponsoring a veterans’ wreath at a cemetery near you, volunteering or donating to a local fundraising group.

Love participating in this event every year. It is such a wonderful thing to remember our vets who have given their support, time, blood and lives to protect this country and rights

Wreaths across America
The Bushnell Story
The summer of 2006 a group of U.S. Military Veterans came across the Wreaths Across America website and realized The Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL had not been enrolled to receive wreaths. The U.S. Military Vets M/C with pride and ambition hosted the Wreath laying ceremony that same year to honor their fallen Brothers and Sisters. We may have started out small but we did it with honor and pride so, with 7 Ceremonial Wreaths, 40 people in attendance and in pouring rain, we held our first ceremony.

In 2007 Whorchester Wreath Company in Harrington, Maine decided to open up the individual wreath laying to Cemeteries across the Nation. With the help of the Civil Air Patrol and few other sponsoring groups we were able to place 88 holiday wreaths on the graves our second year

One day, with your support and sponsorships we will be able to adorn each and every grave and honor our fallen heros at Bushnell National Cemetery.
